State police at Clearfield
- An accident occurred Wednesday on the Kylertown-Drifting Highway in Cooper Township. Further, a driver was traveling north when they lost control of their vehicle during a snow squall. Their vehicle subsequently traveled off of the roadway and impacted a guiderail, causing damage to the front and rear ends. No injuries were reported, state police said.
- An accident occurred Wednesday on the Crooked Sewer Road in Boggs Township. Matthew J. Anderson of Mineral Springs was traveling north when he lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a left-hand curve due to the icy/snow-covered roadway. His vehicle subsequently slid off of the roadway and impacted a drainage culvert, which caused it to overturn onto its roof. Anderson sustained minor injuries; he was wearing his seatbelt. The Anderson vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene, state police said.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred Wednesday on St. Clara Street in Woodward Township. During the incident, someone allegedly smeared potatoes on the windows and then fled the scene.
State police at DuBois
- An accident occurred Tuesday on Interstate 80 westbound at mile-marker 80 in Brookville Borough. Jacob R. Perrin of Brockport was traveling on I-80 when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed. State police were assisted at the scene by the Brookville Fire Department and Jefferson County Emergency Medical Services.
- An accident occurred Wednesday on Route 322 east of Reynoldsville-Sykesville Road in Winslow Township. Zachary K. Adamson of Reynoldsville was traveling westbound while Logan B. Groff, also of Reynoldsville, was traveling eastbound. Adamson crashed into the guiderail and then head-on into the Groff vehicle. Both Adamson and Groff sustained injuries of unknown severity and were transported for treatment. State police were assisted at the scene by the Reynoldsville Fire Department and Reynoldsville, Sykesville and DuSan emergency personnel.
State police at Ridgway
- A hit-and-run accident occurred Wednesday on River Road in Jay Township. Further, when the operator of an unknown vehicle attempted to turn onto Redwood Avenue, they struck a fence on the corner and then fled the scene.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of identity theft. The incident remains under investigation at this time, police said.
- Police assisted a motorist on South Second Street.
Curwensville Borough
- Police have started providing extra patrols in the Susquehanna Avenue area. Further, police have received complaints about speeding and passing. Police would like to remind motorists that the speed limit is 25 miles per hour on Susquehanna Avenue.
