Clearfield Borough
- Police picked up a capped syringe that was located in a local parking lot. Police were able to properly discard it.
- Police reported that a bad check was passed at a local business. It was returned as the account contained insufficient funds.
- Police reported that a vehicle was struck while it was parked along Daisy Street. The suspect vehicle fled the scene, police said.
- Police responded to an address along East 12th Street for a 911 hang-up call. Police found that a child had dialed the number while playing with the phone.
- Police were able to assist a motorist who had locked their keys inside a vehicle along Nichols Street.
- Police were called to a church for a door that appeared to be open. Upon arrival police didn’t find any evidence of anyone trespassing inside.
- Police responded to East 10th Street for a male and female engaged in a verbal dispute. Police responded to the scene and were able to handle the situation.
- Police responded to the park near Woodland Road for a suspicious person. However, the person left prior to police arrival at the scene.
- Police responded to South Second Street for a vehicle that had food thrown at it while it was parked there. Further, the victim was able to follow the suspect vehicle and provide police the necessary information.
- Police responded to Daisy Street for an alleged domestic dispute. Further, a male was arrested for assault as a result and lodged in the Clearfield County Jail.
- Police responded to the hospital to assist staff with calming down a patient who was threatening to leave. Police responded and were able to talk to the patient.
- Police had a cellular phone turned in after it was found along Bridge Street. The owner arrived at the station and was given the phone.
- Police assisted emergency personnel with a male who was threatening harm to himself. He was transported to the hospital for further treatment.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about the alleged theft of medication that occurred at the Economy Inn.
- Police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred on Valley View Drive. During the incident, someone allegedly egged a vehicle and building.
- Police received a request to check the welfare of a male who was riding a bicycle on the Clearfield bypass with a small child in a rear basket. Further, police made contact with the male and found he had several warrants for his arrest. He was transported to county jail by the sheriff’s department.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment.
- Police received a report about a disabled motorist. However, the vehicle was gone upon police arrival.
- Police recovered a lost wallet that was found in Hyde. The owner can claim it by calling police.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle parked on Arrowhead Way. Further, police have received numerous complaints about this vehicle and not much can be done; it was noted that the vehicle is not illegally parked.
