Clearfield Borough
- Police were notified about a vehicle that was parked along East Locust Street for an extended period of time. Police found that the owner had been incarcerated.
- Police assisted Lawrence Township police with a vehicle stop along Route 879. It resulted in multiple arrests after police allegedly located drugs and drug paraphernalia.
- A set of credit cards was turned into police who advised the owner.
- Police received a report about harassing text messages. However, police viewed the messages and the complaint was unfounded.
- Police are investigating the alleged theft of medication from a residence along Nichols Street.
- Police were notified about juveniles being on a roof of a building. Police spoke to the juveniles who were getting a Frisbee off the roof.
- Police were called to North Fourth Street for an intoxicated female. Upon arrival police found the female to be on probation and intoxicated. She was subsequently transported to the Clearfield County Jail.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a bear with mange in the Plymptonville area. Anyone who sees the bear is asked to contact the state Game Commission or township police.
- Police conducted a traffic stop that resulted in a warrant service. Also, police will charge a man for allegedly driving under the influence.
- Police received a report about an alleged assault. However, it was referred to state police, as it occurred in their jurisdiction.
- Police received a report about an IRS phone scam.
- Police received a report about suspicious activity in the Hillsdale area.
Sandy Township
- A Brockport woman reported that her vehicle was hit and damaged while it was parked at Lowe’s Wednesday. A witness described the vehicle and driver, and officers were able to locate it at the Warehouse Bar. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- An employee of the Highland Street School reported finding a bottle of pills outside the building Wednesday.
- A 77-year-old DuBois woman lost control of her vehicle Thursday in the Eat ‘N Park parking lot, causing it to travel through the landscaping and hit the building. Moderate damage and no injuries to the driver or her passenger were reported, police said.
