State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about forgery that occurred between Feb. 5 and April 11 in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, an 18-year-old Morrisdale man allegedly forged and tampered with records at the Reliance Fire Department. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal trespass that occurred April 7 on Portland Mills Road in Ridgway Township. During the incident, an unknown male was allegedly captured on a trail camera trespassing on a clearly posted property.
Clearfield Borough
- Police are investigating an alleged incident of retail theft that occurred over a time period. According to police, a male and female have been entering a store and removing items.
- Police assisted a motorist whose vehicle had become disabled along Bridge Street.
- Police responded to South Fifth Street for a report about a suspicious person who was possibly under the influence. Police spoke to the male and found him to be OK.
- Police arrested a male along South Third Street who had an active warrant. He was taken to the Clearfield County Jail.
- Police responded to Daisy Street for a reported 911 hang-up call. Police found the call was an accidental dial, and there wasn’t an emergency.
- Police were called about numerous trees being down during a recent spring storm.
- Police assisted a motorist along East Cherry Street who had locked their keys inside their vehicle.
- Police arrested a male for suspicion of DUI after a vehicle accident along Third and Bridge streets.
- Police are investigating an alleged incident of retail theft from a South Third Street business.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alarm activated at a business in the area of Route 879 and Interstate 80. Upon arrival, police found everything to be OK.
- Police checked the welfare of a man at a local motel. According to police, he wouldn’t answer the door for housekeeping. When police arrived, they spoke with the 58-year-old man who had injuries from an alleged assault. Police said his eye was swollen and he had numerous burns to both arms. He was subsequently transported to the hospital for treatment. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications.
DuBois City
- Police received a report about a male who was passed out inside his vehicle at the intersection of South State Street and Spring Avenue. A witness told police he had stopped and knocked on the window, but the male didn’t respond to him. Upon arrival, police were able to wake the male, and he was taken to his residence.
- Police spoke with a male regarding an ex who was allegedly harassing him and causing problems. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police were dispatched to a reported hit-and-run accident at the City Park. According to police, the caller found damage to the left, front fender of their vehicle and a cracked wheel well. Police said there were also black paint transfer and a large scratch on the vehicle’s hood.
