Lawrence Township Police
- Police were called to a DUI related, two vehicle accident on May 16 on Coal Hill Road in the area of Guelich Ave. During the investigation, it was found that the driver of one of the vehicles was under the influence of a controlled substance. The two female drivers were transported to Penn Highlands for treatment. A male passenger was taken into custody and housed in the Clearfield County Jail on a 48- hour detainer. DUI charges have been filed.
State Police at DuBois
- Police investigated a theft from a residence in Huston Township on Wednesday. The theft allegedly took place over the course of six months at the victim’s previous residence where he had left several personal belongings. The investigation continues.
State Police at Punxsutawney
- Police investigated a vehicle accident on Ballentine Road on Route 36 on Apr. 25. A 63 year old Brookville woman drove off the east side of the roadway and down over an embankment. The woman was found to be in possession of a small baggie containing a green substance. The investigation continues.
