Police Report: Clearfield Borough

  • A parking complaint occurred along Williams Street. The caller notified police that the vehicles had been moved prior to their arrival.
  • Children were reportedly playing near an operating train in the area of Williams and Fulton streets. The children were gone upon police arrival.
  • Police checked the area of East Pine Street for possible drug activity but did not locate anything suspicious.
  • Police apprehended a runaway who was from the Dubois area. The male was found to be under the influence of K-2.  He was transported to the hospital and released to juvenile probation.
  • Police apprehended a male at Irwin Citgo.  The male had multiple warrants out for his arrest.  He was transported to the Clearfield County Jail and detained on a warrant from the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office.
  • Police checked a suspicious vehicle that was parked at the Skate Park after hours.
  • Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and located drug paraphernalia following a search.
  • Police unlocked a vehicle at Sheetz.
  • Police responded to Lita Lane to assist the fire department with an outside fire that was located in a wooded area.
  • Police located two vehicles at the Skate Park after dark.  The occupants were advised to leave the area.
  • Lawrence Township police were assisted with stopping the operator of a vehicle involved with an incident along Riverview Road. The operator had left prior to police arrival and traveled into the borough, where they were stopped and detained.
  • Police received a call about a landlord/tenant issue.  The caller was advised it was civil in nature and to contact the appropriate authority.
  • Police handled a noise complaint on School Avenue.
  • A disturbance was unfounded on East Market Street.
  • Police handled a disturbance between a husband and wife on High Street.
  • Two males were reportedly engaged in a verbal altercation along Nichols Street. Police made contact with one male who stated it was only verbal and nothing physical had occurred.
  • Police handled a noise complaint along Turnpike Avenue.
  • Police handled harassment via communication incident.
  • Police arrested a male on outstanding warrants after he was found to be a passenger of a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation.  The male was transported to the CCJ on a probation violation.
