HOUTZDALE – A man is facing charges after a physical altercation Wednesday at a Hannah Street apartment in Houtzdale Borough, according to the Clearfield-based state police.
State police said a 27-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, both of Houtzdale, engaged in a verbal argument, which escalated into a physical altercation when he allegedly slapped her on the side of the face. The man also allegedly choked the woman and covered her mouth and nose over a two-hour timeframe.
The man was charged with simple assault, unlawful restraint and harassment through the district court.
